His crew is phenomenal not only was their craftsmanship to my very high expectations. They were the nicest gentlemen and a pleasure to have in our home. The craftsmanship, the professionalism, the integrity and the expertise was above grade in our book. We love our basement. Dillon Contracting was built on a foundation of real trade skills. Our founder started his career as a professional carpenter, completing a fully accredited apprenticeship program. That training shaped the way we approach every project — with precision, accountability, and a respect for doing the work right the first time.
About fifteen to twenty years ago, we started finishing basements for neighbors, friends, and family on the side. Word spread quickly. Homeowners across Macomb and Oakland counties kept calling, and the work kept coming. What started as a side project grew into something we couldn't ignore.
Eventually, the business grew large enough to bring on additional employees and operate full time. Finishing basements stopped being a side hustle and became our full-time focus. Today, Dillon Contracting is dedicated entirely to transforming unfinished lower levels into spaces that families actually use and enjoy.
